National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) under chairmanship of Hon'ble Prime Minister of India has envisioned a CAP based Integrated Alert System on Pan India basis. The project involves near real-time dissemination of early warning through multiple means of technology using geo-intelligence.

For all natural & man-made disasters,

in multiple languages

across all media at the same time.

SMS

User needs to be attentive when disaster alerts are received via SMS from the header XX-NDMAEW.

Mobile Application

This app individually can be used for weather forecast information as well as reception of disaster alerts with multiple locations subscription facility.

Browser Notification

Browser Notification would be provided on desktop/laptop browsers, through which user can get the notification of disaster related information.Supported Browser : Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox & Microsoft Edge

India CAP RSS Feed

The alert will be published on the RSS feed as well, and agencies (News agencies etc.) subscribed for the RSS feed will get alerts and they can further disseminate/broadcast the warning to the public
